Have We Crossed the Chasm to Social CRM?

It’s a fitting question to ask, I think. And it’s a question we are delighted to have Geoffrey Moore help us explore with Brent Potts of Hewlett-Packard, Treb Ryan of OpSource and Steven Woods of Eloqua in a webinar we are sponsoring with CRM magazine on September 15th. I hope you can join us.

It’s easy to get caught up in the hype around Social CRM these days. When CustomerThink publishes survey results saying two-thirds of U.S. consumers believe companies should ramp up social media usage to identify and resolve service and support issues, one would think we are moving beyond an early adopter market.  When Gartner says that Web 2.0 will reach mainstream adoption in two years, it would seem Social CRM could well be on its way. And as we have pointed out before, there have been many industry experts in the market who have indicated we are in a transition period – just follow the #scrm thread on Twitter and see what folks are saying.

So, whatever side of the chasm you're on, whether you believe we have crossed it or not, why not hear what a few executives have to say to Geoffrey Moore, best-selling author of Crossing the Chasm and renowned authority on understanding the effective exploitation of disruptive technologies? We look forward to having you join us on September 15th.
