Coverage On Our Amazon Transition

There are a couple of great blog posts on our Amazon transition out there for those interested in more detail on how we did it.

Larry Dignan says we have "the blueprint" for how to do a transition.

Thomas Foydell says Helpstream moved up "a whole other level" beyond current SaaS vendors by moving into the Cloud.

Lots of good data in both articles, and both gentlemen are great bloggers that I follow for their insights.

If you're a blogger looking for more insight into Amazon or Helpstream, drop us a line.  We're doing briefings.

I'm intrigued with the ROI analysis that you've done. How did you cut cost on bandwidth ? Financially AWS, when comparing to iWeb servers is expensive, since you'll have to pay bandwidth on AWS and in iWeb is included. Technically, is obviously lot better since it's an on-demand infrastructure and every hosting provider in the world aren't.
